Becomes AOMO

Sivichai Udomvoran, our inspiring founder, is a true visionary! He graduated at the top of his class with B.Arch from Chulalongkorn University in 1993 and went on to earn a of Architecture from the University of Washington in 1999, with commendation! After an impressive six years working in Seattle renowned firms like Carlson Architects and Miller/Hull Partnership (AIA Firm of the Year 2003), he returned to Thailand in 2005. He had worked with one of the best architecture firm in Thailand, A49, for over 8 years as a partner before he left.

In 2014, he founded Architecture of My Own (AOMO), driven by his passion for architecture and the desire to explore his unique vision, influenced by the beauty of tropical architecture from Southeast Asia and the modern aesthetics of the Pacific of NW architecture from the US.

Sivichai has also been sharing his expertise by teaching at Chulalongkorn University since 2013 in design and construction classes, and as a thesis advisor.

The Studio

We specialize in designing a wide range of architectural projects, including residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces. We are passionate about engaging projects of all sizes and focus on thoughtful design, from simple to intricate details that stand the test of time.

We value our relationships with clients and ensure their budgets are managed wisely. Our studio features an open layout without walls, promoting seamless idea sharing and communication. We believe architecture goes beyond expensive materials and forms; our goal is to create simple yet sophisticated designs that make a bold statement. Respect, honesty, compassion and professionalism are fundamental to our daily work.

Our Design Process

The client's program is a vital component of our design. We often collaborate with clients to develop these programs through discussions and workshops.

We attentively consider the clients' needs and the specifics of each project site. Brainstorming and open discussions are essential to generate ideas and achieve the best design outcomes. To help our clients visualize spaces and designs, we communicate our concepts through hand sketches, computer renderings, and physical models.
